Kuala Lumpur: The BrandLaureate BestBrands e-Branding Awards
2020 returns LIVE for the second consecutive month with over 25 exclusive list
of winners, including some of Malaysia's most renowned business leaders,
corporations and brands. Following the resounding success of The BrandLaureate
BestBrands e-Branding Awards 2020 previously,

(TWBF) once again continue to celebrate brands that have not only stood strong,
but have also reflected their agility and resilience in today’s unprecedented
economy. These extraordinary brands have elevated their brands in both good and
challenging times, and we express our congratulations to them.
With the theme, “TO BE SEEN, TO
BE HEARD, TO BE KNOWN and TO BE REMEMBERED!”, it is critical that every brand

blazing spirit, the winners of The BrandLaureate BestBrands e-Branding Awards
2020 does not only reap huge benefit in market visibility and position but has
also accelerate the growth of revenue and profits while showcasing the good
reputation that these visionary leaders have built over the years.
The LIVE broadcast kicked off
with a welcoming speech by DrKKJohan, World President of The BrandLaureate
stressing out the importance of branding for every brand's success, he said
that in good and bad times, companies must always keep up with their branding,
and position their brand as a market leader for all to see and know and to
always be forever audible and visible and not overshadowed by their
competitors.
DrKKJohan encouraged brands to
better do something than nothing, regardless of any situation, "when there
is so much uncertainty, it is common for the human tendency to stop doing
business, though in my opinion, we should not stop even in bad times - we
should work harder, but the most important thing is to stay calm, focused and
have a positive mindset, what is needed is only to adjust the sail so that we
can navigate to calmer waters".
At the end of his speech, he
closes it with a statement "it is not the storm, it is adjusting the sail
that makes all the difference. Let’s keep sailing, sail on, sail on to the top.

During the night, over 25
companies and individuals received The BrandLaureate BestBrands e-Branding Awards
2020.As the highlight of the celebration, Star Residences was presented with
The BrandLaureate Book of World Records to the CEO, Mr Alan Koh for “The Unique
Star-shape Kinetic Features” comprising of88,000 pieces of stainless steel
plate of podium facade of the building — touted to be the first in the world.
Having this unique facade, cozy
lounges and luxurious rooms with super king size beds and other modern
facilities, the Star Residences project was indeed a dream come true that
represents the epitome of brand success in the prestigious KLCC neighborhood. The
award presentation then followed by The BrandLaureate BestBrands e-Branding
Awards 2020 -Strategic Business Partner to The Malaysian National News Agency,
BERNAMA.
Receiving the award is Deputy
Editor-in-Chief News Service, Mr Abdul Rahman Ahmad. Brands winning The
BrandLaureate BestBrands e-Branding Awards 2020 includes Radicare in the category
of Integrated Facility Management, Setel in Innovation - e-Payment App and
lastly, Star Residences in Property - Luxury Condominium. Next is the award
presentation to Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur DiRaja for its Leadership in
Community Outreach.
Formed in 1928, Rotary Club of Kuala Lumpur
DiRaja has been instrumental in organizing and implementing many major
community projects that have become the corner stone of Kuala Lumpur’s landscape
and rich culture. Never to rest on its laurels in providing community services,
Rotary Club ofKuala Lumpur DiRaja is indeed worthy of recognition for The
BrandLaureate Award.
As for The BrandLaureate
BestBrands e-Branding Awards 2020 - BrandLeadership Award, prominent names
receiving the award includes Associate Prof Dr. Chan Yoke Fun, the Associate
Professor and the Head of Department of Medical Microbiology, Faculty of
Medicine University of Malaya, KL.
The Award was given to her for
her contributing years of research in developing vaccines, antiviral and
education tools on enterovirus A71, an emerging virus that causes severe
neurological disease and hand, foot and mouth (HFMD) disease. Her successful
medical career has also given her the opportunity in promoting Women of Science
in Malaysia when she won ASEAN-US Science Prize for Women, L’Oréal-UNESCO for Women
in Science Malaysia Fellowship, National Council of Women’s Organizations
Malaysia Award for Science and technology, Science and Environment Award, and
many others.

Sheet, Assata, abrand named after its primary skincare product line in the
category of Wellness - Beauty Solutions, Crown Clinic in Wellness - Medical
& Aesthetic Clinic, Durian Hill in Retail - Frozen Durian & Snacks, H2Zen
from Wellness Concept (M) Sdn Bhd in Wellness - Portable Hydrogen Water Generator,
IPG Malaysia in Real Estate Consultations, MEC in Environmental Solutions,
Myeongdong Toppoki in F&B -Fast Casual Korean Restaurant Chain, Richworks
International Sdn Bhd in Training - Entrepreneurial and Business Development,
Uncle Don's in F&B - Casual Dining & Bars and lastly Veritas University
College in Online Education.
The night ended with the award
presentation to renowned contemporary artist, Ms Red Hong Yi for her leadership
in making unique art pieces that are thought-provoking and wondrous. She was
awarded with The BrandLaureate Brand ICON Leadership Awards 2020 for the
“Expression of Iconic Masterpieces of Art Through Material Objects 2020.”
